If only the new CR-V had the venerable and super reliable 2.4 liter engine! The 1.5 Turbo engine WILL require longer cool down and warm up times, more frequent oil changes, spark plug changes, etc. Major and very expensive components of this turbo engine HAVE failed at between 40,000 and 70,000 miles. Trust me, I am sad to see Honda use a small displacement turbo engine in a roughly 3,525 lb. vehicle. I know a few other automakers are doing the same thing. But Honda used to be BETTER than the rest. In some ways, they still are. And I remain a Fan of Honda, still. ALL buyers, do your homework and decide for yourself. I wish y'all the best in whatever you decide to do. Y'all take care.…

Got my crv new, and loved it ever since. It's been on 3 trips out west from the Ohio Valley region, and has been driven through deserts and mountains with nary a problem. Took it to the Gulf Coast, performed like a champ. What I really like about it is the leg room. Being 6'5" I've always had to sandwich myself into many car types, with limited leg room. But the crv has a spot around the steering wheel shaft that I can straighten my legs into. On a long trip that's awesome 👍. Gonna keep it awhile for sure.…
