        I love my 2016 Veloster. Sporty. Plenty of power, no body rust at all.fun to drive . Great on gas. Great cargo space. Sunroof is a plus. Good in snow with winter tires. I’d buy it again.…

        2017 Veloster Turbo

        This little hatchback actually has a lot of room in the front seats. I'm 6'4" 220lbs and I sit comfortably with my seat adjusted properly. That being said, no room to sit behind me. I never really have more than 1-2 people riding with me occasionally, so the unusual but cool 3-door approach works perfectly. I love that the driver's side door and window are much longer than the passenger side. I am writing this review in December of 2023 with 84,000 miles on it, I purchased the car USED in February of 2019 with 32,000 miles on it. It has been reliable, fuel efficient (depending on how heavy your gas-pedal foot tends to be), and fun to whip around listening to the decent premium sound system. I have put very little money into the car over time. I do all of my routine maintenance in a timely manner and have seen no issues. Just recently I was told I had a leaky strut, and the labor for that was tough. This month I replaced both front struts, brakes, and bearings costing me about $1,100 in labor at the dealership, but that is the first time I had to put in more than a couple hundred bucks in 5 years of driving. CONS: The only con of this car really is that you will feel every bump in the road. That is just due to the very short wheelbase of the car among other things. Never bothered me too much. That and the lack of space, but if space isn't a concern then this is a very affordable, fun, sporty car that has proven to be pretty reliable for me. We will see what the next couple of years bring as I near and surpass 100k. Plan to trade in for a new Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid in 2025 if all goes to plan.…
