The Future has Arrived!

The all-new and first-ever electrified Cadillac Escalade is sleek, sexy, and dare we say, downright seductive. Starting with a clean slate and drafting sheet, this is Caddy's latest expression of what the EV future will look like. We think it's the best-looking Escalade ever, both inside and out.

Let's start with the basics. The IQ is the top-of-the-line three-row Escalade model that comes standard with two electric motors for all-wheel drive bringing 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque to your command. General Motors tells us that it will take you an astounding 460 miles on a charge, and when you plug it in, it can provide 100 miles of range in just ten minutes using DC Fast Charging.
The new IQ is making its way to dealerships now and is available in four trim configurations: Luxury 1, Sport 1, Luxury 2, and Sport 2. There will also be a longer wheelbase IQL model later in 2025. The Escalade has long been Cadillac's full-size flagship SUV, known for lavish luxury and outright opulence, but the new IQ has pushed the technology envelope far past the sticky part to give customers what they have been dreaming of in the form of more range and faster charging. In fact, the new IQ has the most range of any EV SUV on the market.

The Escalade IQ joins Cadillac's line of electric vehicles which includes the Lyriq Midsize SUV and the soon to be released Optiq Compact SUV. According to Donnelly Baxter, marketing manager for the IQ, the look of the new EV has been completely reimagined with fashion forward design all the way around. It rides on exclusive 24-inch wheels and 35-inch tires, the biggest ever offered on an Escalade. "The new design offers a more sporty appearance and it performs great as well," Donnelly tells us. "It offers 15 percent better aerodynamics." He calls it a great symphony of design and engineering. This can be seen in the larger-than-life glass roof and expressive light show that welcomes you as you step towards the car. 

Stunning interior

Inside the stunning interior you'll find premium materials and lavish seating for six passengers with personal 12-inch video screens in the second row. The amazing 55-inch curved pillar-to-pillar diagonal screen marries the digital gauges, touch controls and infotainment for the driver with a separate entertainment screen for the front passenger that is angled so the driver is not disturbed. Google-based GPS technology and GM's SuperCruise allows you to just say, "Hey Google, take me to my destination," and the IQ's hand-free driving will get you there. At least, that's what Donnelly tells us.
As you might expect from an Escalade, the heated, massaging seats will make the ride more comfortable while an available AKG Studio 40-speaker total immersion audio system places you right in the orchestra pit. Ambient lighting with 126-color spectrum lighting lets you create whatever mood you desire.

There's plenty of storage that now includes a "frunk" up front which gives you 12.2-cubic feet of storage and the new power automatic open and close doors option is a nice touch. Behind the rear seats you'll find 119.2 cubic feet of storage room behind the first row. The IQ is a foot longer than the standard Escalade with GM's Ultium 24-module battery pack riding underneath the chassis.
Speaking of battery charging, the IQ comes with a professionally installed Level 2 home charger to make charging quick and easy. When it comes to the latest driver assist features, the IQ comes standard with enhanced automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring and steering assistance, enhanced automatic parking assist, rear cross traffic braking and available night vision.

Luxury or Sport?

The entry level Luxury 1 trim comes with dual motors, 24-inch, seven spoke alloy wheels and as the name implies a ton of luxury. Luxury 2 trim includes massaging front seats, a trailering package, LED headlights, and the aforementioned upscale AKG sound system.

Sport 1 trim can be yours starting at an MSRP of $130,490 showcasing an Obsidian Chrome interior and Sport-specific front grille that lights up to let the world know you've arrived. Sport 2 trim gives you all the extras found in the Luxury 2 including the trailering package, massaging seats, and upgraded AKG sound system but also adds automatic leveling, cornering night vision and an Adaptive Forward Lighting System.
