2025 All-New Toyota Camry

When will the new Camry be Available?
Spy photos of the all-new Toyota Camry have been making their way across the Internet. The world is excited to see the completely redesigned 2025 Camry that will be in showrooms in late 2024. Early images suggest a seductive look for the new car that is long and lean, more of a coupe profile and a definite step up compared to the present model. While the design and look will be fresh and new, the biggest changes will be harder to see.

Best Fuel Economy Ever in a Toyota Family Sedan?

Industry insiders suspect that the biggest news will be the use of the Toyota Crown's all-wheel drive hybrid powertrain that will pump 236 horsepower to the pavement and bring drivers the best fuel economy ever in a Toyota family sedan.

Others guess that there will be the option of a 265 horsepower 2.4-liter turbocharged inline four engine that is being used in the Highlander. Still others are convinced the ninth generation Camry will offer the option of the meatier Hybrid Max variant that produces 340 horses and can take you from zero to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds. Time will tell.

No matter which powertrain powers the new car, it will likely make use of a silky smooth eight-speed automatic or CVT transmission. As far as the chassis, it looks like the automaker will be using the same TNGA-K platform that the Camry has enjoyed since 2018. As of this writing, even the new sedan's starting TSRP is anyone's guess, but we expect the entry level Camry will come in at around $28,000.
Is the Camry America's Top-Selling Sedan?
  • The Camry, which is Japanese for "Crown," has been sold worldwide since 1982. Originally known as the Celica Camry, it was a four-door compact but has grown in size since the 1990s to its present wide body midsize configuration. It is positioned above Toyota's Corolla as a more family-oriented five-seater.
  • The Camry has become a popular choice on American roads, beating the Honda Accord and Hyundai Sonata. In fact, it has been the most popular sedan in the U.S. for over 20 years and the new 2025 Camry will be the ninth generation of the reliable people mover.
  • Like the current model, the new Camry will follow Toyota's sleek design trends as seen in the new Prius models. Expect a comfortable, spacious, and functional interior and the latest infotainment, safety, and cutting-edge driver assist features.
  • As is the trend with the Japanese automaker's vehicles, the latest Toyota Safety Sense Suite safety package will be standard across all trim levels and will include ten standard airbags, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, road sign recognition and more.
In Conclusion
When it comes to value for your money, the new Camry is expected to surpass its competition, scoring high on comfort, functionality, performance, reliability, and fuel efficiency. Expect the hybrid version to get in the neighborhood of 42 miles per gallon or more.

We think the all-new Camry could be the best looking and functioning Toyota to come off the assembly line ever. With advanced safety and state-of-the-art driver assist features as well as money-saving fuel efficiency, this flagship family car will be well worth considering for your next vehicle purchase.
